These lambs are line bred to Teddy (a Charles Beam Ram) and it shows up in the heavy dark markings.  Both the sire and dam go back to Teddy.  They are quite cute!  They would breed well as an outcross to other lines.  This is the second set of triplets for Erma.

These triplets were born in the middle of the day when it was setting another heat record in St. Louis of 106º.  I came home from a quick trip out, went straight to the barn to check on Momma and they were all three already up and about.  I did worry about them in this terrible heat, but they are doing just fine.

This is a nice size ewe lamb.   She was a twin, unfortunately her brother was stillborn.  It appeared his one front leg was positioned behind his head, making a difficult delivery.  Both were good size.
